God made me for this
My globally inspired mission
After spending several years abroad spending chunks of time at farms and in farm-friendly corners of the globe, I couldn’t shake one powerful realization:
The vast majority of cultures around the world have a deep connection to their food and the farmers who grow it.
Meanwhile, “Western” consumers are becoming more and more disconnected from farms and where their food comes from. Our food grows increasingly void of nutrients, meaning, and quality at the same time.
After graduating with a political science degree and spending time in my 20s working for elected officials, I left the toxic politics world behind; I was seeing the lack of accountability and action right in front of my eyes and wanted a hands-on way to genuinely transform my community.
My passion for growing food that nourishes the land and restores harmony to all created things led me to starting a co-op farm. We provide opportunities for other first-generation aspiring farmers, community garden space for people searching for food freedom, free community events like chicken processing days, and educational opportunities for the next generation to get their hands in the dirt.
